Welcome to the thriving urban bustle of Urbandale, Iowa and the peaceful village-like setting of the Cobblestone Community. Our one hundred and fifty-seven homes are situated on twenty-four acres, including a pond and heated pool, surrounded by wooded areas adjacent to more than fifty miles of walking and biking trails maintained by the
City of Urbandale. From the trail following the rambling Walnut Creek, you can access three community parks, offering a pond to fish, tennis and pickle ball courts, playgrounds and a skate park. You can also follow the trail to the
Urbandale Public Library and the
Master Gardeners Display Garden.
We are situated close to several shopping areas in neighboring Clive, Windsor Heights, and Urbandale including five grocery stores, pharmacies, hospitals, and much more. Our area is served by the
West Des Moines School system with busing for students that pick up at the 82nd Street and Cobblestone Rd intersection. For those commuting or traveling, there is easy access to Interstate 35/80 and 235 with a commute to downtown Des Moines just ten to fifteen minutes.
Cobblestone Owners Association is an engaged community with opportunities for all to serve. Several original homeowners since 1980 continue to call Cobblestone home, which speaks well of our wholesome and stable community.
